It all began in 1992 with two women and a dream.

After working for respectively Chez Mathilde and The Paddock they decided to start their own restaurant but it had to be a kind of Chez Mathilde like.
 After running a cafe restaurant and a hotel restaurant the restaurant of their dream came along their way.
Fortunately, they met Romalo who worked at Le Dome. 
Chez Matilde and Le Dome were the two renowned restaurants on the island. 
And then the idea came to combine Chez Mathilde and Le Dome and Restaurant Anno 1877 was born.
